“God is in the details,”- The story of impressive SPNS sofa design

Well known architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969), said this about the design. One of his famous works is New York’s Seagram Building. He has been one of the mainstream thinkers in architecture, design. His thoughts further influenced furniture design and even sofa design. Leading sofa manufacturer and designer sofa showroom SPNS furniture, Pune, follows this inspiration in sofas. Ludwig put forth a modernist approach to design-“less is more” aesthetics- that made elements in design minimum. This has deducted decorative, ornamental, flowery designs and simplified designs to a minimalistic composition of elements. SPNS sofas can boast of the elegance and sense of proportion which made Mies’ buildings stand out.

SPNS has gone ahead in research and detailing, has now a wide range of sofas. The range has been designed commercial interiors- for offices, hotels, restaurants, malls, showrooms. The other segment includes sofas for flats, row houses, bungalows.

The thought of detailing of design has become a way of work in SPNS. The result is eloquent on every sofa- that fits the bill for the offices or residential spaces.
Here is how the detailing in SPNS works- that gives total customer satisfaction- as per the mission of SPNS. Sofa manufacturer here is done in two streams- commercial and residential.
·
Detailing in SPNS sofa design- The design section considers the essential aspects of design- i.e. uniqueness, trendiness, the elegance of the design. This decides its form, dimension and relative proportion of its back, arms, sitting area.

·       Detailing in SPNS sofa ergonomics- This aspect is also a differentiator of SPNS sofas. Ergonomics is a science and research that deals with person body posture and the design of the furniture. For instance, the height of the sofa should be such that the knees should be above the level of the person’s waist in a sitting position. This way the entire sofa is detailed in ergonomically to give maximum comfort to the user.

·       Detailing of SPNS sofa upholstery- The material used for the cover of the sofa can be foam leather, fabric  or leather as per the type. The material is chosen after the careful, detailed examination of the material by the experts.

·       Detailing of SPNS sofa color scheme- Colors of the sofa differ in the office segment and residential segment. They can be in bright shades, pastel shades or earth shades. They are also available in black, grey and white.

·       Detailing of the range- SPNS offers a wide range of sofas thoughtfully manufactured- there are lounge sofas, L shaped sofas, 2in1 sofas, love seats sofa and more. The SPNS Range is available in sizes of your choice and requirement.
